Comunitária Full-time
The Comunitária Full-time has been carefully planned to offer families who need assistance during the school term and/or as a way of extending school activities, a space to welcome the plurality of childhoods.
The choice of childcare as an educational approach offers the child TIME, SPACE FOR CARE, EXPERIENCES and SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCES. We understand and structure the entire daily routine as fundamental educational processes to guarantee safety, emotional stability and all-round development, underpinning the child’s stay at school during this extended period.
THE COMUNITÁRIA FULL-TIME WORKS ON CHILDREN’S NEEDS
DEVELOPING SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE.

A workshop based on “Maker Culture” in which “hands-on” practice is used with unstructured creative materials (recyclables, scrap metal, wood, paper, etc.), combining technology, creativity and sustainability in the construction of diverse knowledge.
It aims to intensify work on oral production (speaking and understanding), broadening exposure to the language in different situations. To practice and consolidate different linguistic and cultural aspects through games, play, practice and experience.
Food
Encouraging the habit of healthy and balanced eating, seeking to observe the relationship that children establish with food, the progressive learning of knowledge and actions related to food, expanding awareness and experience.
In the Comunitária Full-time Program, lunch and snacks have a weekly menu prepared and supervised by the school’s nutritionist, in order to meet the nutritional needs of each age group with foods/preparations that the children know and are encouraged to consume. The children eat their meals in the cafeteria, always accompanied by educators who encourage the expansion of the child’s food repertoire and autonomy.
