UNESCO

The Escola Comunitária de Campinas has been part of the UNESCO Associated Schools Program (PEA-Unesco) since September 2014. PEA is the arm of UNESCO that encompasses basic education schools around the world. Founded in 1953, the PEA UNESCO Network brings together 11,000 schools from 180 countries, committed to the principles disseminated by UNESCO. Among these principles are the promotion of a culture of peace, education for sustainable development and the formation of generations aware of their role as agents of global citizenship.

MAM

Since 2007, the Escola Comunitária de Campinas and the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM) have established an educational partnership to promote greater integration. As part of its institutional benefits, the MAM offers free admission to ECC students and staff, as well as their families and companions, during the museum’s opening hours. This educational partnership aims to establish continuous contact between the school and the museum, fostering deeper cultural interaction through the exhibitions, lectures and courses on offer.

EFFIGY

Through the partnership established with Efígie Educacional, the exclusive representative of Washington Academy in Brazil, the Escola Comunitária de Campinas offers students, from the 8th grade onwards, the opportunity to obtain a double diploma. This modality allows Brazilian students to complete high school at the same time as obtaining an American high school diploma

WASHINGTON ACADEMY

From the 8th grade onwards, ECC offers students the opportunity to obtain a double diploma, allowing them to complete Brazilian high school alongside an American high school diploma, in partnership with the Washington Academy. In this program, subjects not included in the national curriculum are taught by teachers from the United States, with the support and guidance of a tutor teacher, in face-to-face meetings.

CAMBRIDGE

The Escola Comunitária de Campinas is a model and reference in preparing students for the Cambridge exams, and is recognized as one of the 25 best preparation centers in the world. This prestigious recognition highlights the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and the success of students in obtaining international certifications.

All students in the 9th year of elementary school and the 2nd year of secondary school take the exams administered by the University of Cambridge at the school.
